What’s STRONG With You?

"What's wrong?" We've all been asked this question - even when we're not aware of anything being "wrong." Think about it for a moment. If a modern-day Yoda asked, "What's STRONG with you?" Would you know the answer?

The VIA Institute, in promoting the strengths-based model of personal development, urges us to build our awareness of "what's strong" instead of "what's wrong." Better yet, the Institute offers a free survey to ensure you know what makes you strong. The survey can help you:

  • Identify your Virtues and Character Strengths.
  • Develop an awareness of "what's strong" instead of "what's wrong."
  • Find out who you really are at your core.
  • Discover how to live authentically.

The 96 question survey is scientifically validated, and provides you with a rank order of your 24 character strengths. It is the only online, free, scientific assessment of character strengths in the world, and has been taken by over 8 million people. It takes 10-15 minutes to complete, and provides you with immediate, printable results. The simplest report, ranking your strengths, is free. A variety of other reports are available, with costs ranging from $10 to $40.

Take the Survey

Set aside fifteen minutes to complete the survey, then log in to the Path4Change Basecamp. Do a simple search to learn more about each of your strengths and read what the community is saying about them. You can even place your top five strengths in your profile if you want to share them with others.

The next time someone asks "What's STRONG with you?" (and it's bound to happen sooner or later if you're hanging around Basecamp), you will know the answer.
